Mercy Stands Knocking


Do you know how much God loves you?
Do you know how much He cares?
Do you know you have a mansion
In Heaven that He prepares?

Do you know He stands there waiting
Eagerly to greet you there?
That He's ready to receive you
In this land so bright and fair?

It's a land where tears and sorrows
Will e'er cease to be no more;
No more pain and no more suff'ring
On this fair celestial shore.

However, you must receive Him,
Offer Him your heart to live,
He is longing to embrace you,
His eternal life to give.

He stands knocking at your heart's door,
Won't you ask Him to come in?
He'll wrap you in His arms of love
And forgive you for your sin.

Jesus never will forsake you,
For His promises are true;
He is waiting. Will you answer?
Jesus leaves it up to you.

Mercy stands at your door knocking;
Please invite Him to come in.
Today and for eternity
Heaven's Hope will live within.
