Little
Miracle

Precious child creation of God
See he is innocent at play
Not knowing what was to come
The disease would enter that day
Sorrow and shock overcame loved ones
Replaced by anger and despair
Why do children have to suffer?
What we can’t comprehend, seems so unfair
They fell to their knees
In desperation and love
And laid their pain at the feet
Of the One up above
The prayers started to spread
Brothers and sisters as one
Came together in faith
Now the battle had begun
As the disease grew
The outlook seemed dim
But their faith became stronger
They refused to give in
Knowing the power of God
Continuing to cry out
Ignoring the bad news
Not conceding to doubt
The disease is so powerful
His loved ones were told
But in time the power of God
Began to unfold
For He heard all the voices
Their faith was so true
The disease was no match
Now its grip would undo
The healing continued
It continues today
We praise our Lord God
For His miraculous way
The child has been strong through
The battle he has fought
I pray his prayer for no more disease
“Not even one little spot”

And
the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person
well; the Lord will raise him up. (James 5:15)
