My Prayer

Sweet Jesus, Savior and King
To whom I owe my everything
Please hear my voice in prayer today
Please listen to words I have to say

My heart is yours oh Holy One
The Father's only begotten Son
I have not much to give to You
To me You gave a life brand new

How can I show You how I feel
How do I prove my love is real
Does it make You joyful when You see
The worship and praise that comes from me

Look down on me from heavenly throne
For I look to You and You alone
Continue to bless me even when
I fall into the world of sin

Pour out Your glory on me now
I will consume what You allow 
Feed me with Your love and grace
Within Your home please save my place

I know that I can never repay
The price You paid on the cross that day
But I will continue to praise Your name
And proclaim Your greatness just the same

Know that the words from my mouth and pen
Come from the essence deep and within
Your Spirit in me my greatest treasure
My love for You is without measure

I long for the day when I see Your face
Savior of the human race
And I will tell You how much I adore
My magnificent Savior for evermore
