Additional Non-history Books
(For extra history books see my history books page)

Do you have a child who is always looking for more books than what is on the Robinson CD's?  Here is a list of additional books that you may want to add to the reading list.  This list is organized by reading level:
Level 1 and 2 - Early Elementary and older - Picture books
Level 2 - Early Elementary and older - Bailey Books and Bobbsey twin Books
Level 3/4 - Mid Elementary level and older - Pollard Level
Level 5/6 - High Elementary/Middle School and older - Henty Level
Level 7/8 - Advanced Middle School and older
Level 9/10 - High School and older
Level 11/12 - College Level/Adults
Each level is then broke down into how closely the books resemble that from the Robinson Curriculum.
* * * * - Books by the same authors from the Robinson Curriculum.
EX: Author Scott Bailey, Sophie May, Laura Lee Hope, Louisa May Alcott . . .
  * * * - Books written before 1960 that are of a similar writing style to those in the Robinson Curriculum.
Ex: Thornton Burgess books.
    * * - Books written after 1960 that are of a similar or lesser quality writing style, to the Robinson Curriculum, and/or have good Christian content.
Ex: Sugar Creek Gang books
       * - Books that a few Robinson users have used, but do not contain the same quality as the books in the Curriculum.  Use sparingly.
Ex: Dr Suess books
Within each rating level, the books are arranged in alphabetical order by the author.  If the book can be found on-line, a link is provided.

I hope that you will find this list useful.

Note:  These books are not necessarily formated for printing out, but some people do print out the book as is from the internet.  If you want to print the books out in a different format than what they are in, you will need to save the text to your hard drive, and then change the format to the way you want the text to look.
Once the file is saved you can go back and change the text size, delete parts of the page that are not a part of the book, and whatever else you want to do to make the book look the way you want it to.
