Welcome to Horsemaster’s Art, the website of Michelle Earl, poet, artist, and author of Fantasy.  The purpose of this website is to promote  Michelle’s art. 

Michelle creates two types of art:  written and visual.  Her written art consists of her poetry as well as fantasy with a Christian slant.  Michelle’s current project is a novel entitled Jalcom’s Cane.  She is also working on editing her poetry in preparation for a chapbook on social issues. 

Michelle paints with acrylic paints on illustration board and canvas, but she is looking into the possibility of painting on wooden spoons as well as ceramic tiles.  It has been said that her style is similar to Maude Lewis

NEWS

01/01/2008—Grand opening of this site!  Michelle is still working out the kinks, but it should be fully up and running one hundred percent by the end of January.  This site will also be updated monthly.  Next up will be individual pictures of her artwork.  Please feel free to sign her guestbook.

02/01/2008—Michelle has placed the first drafts of the first three chapters as well as the forward on Writers Café.  Look for it under the title of the book.  She has also uploaded some more display photos and a new art gallery page for single photos, so enjoy!

04/01/2008—Michelle has published a poem entitled “Frosted Sparkles” in the Rat Creek Press and is currently writing a monthly column entitled “The Local Tourist (the ETS Way)”

04/26/2008—There is lots of news to send your way today!  During the month of May, my work will be displayed at the Carrot Arts Coffeehouse!  On May 8, there will be an artist reception from 7-9pm featuring the music of Murray and Dean Jaster from Risen from the Ashes  For more events, visit the Event / News Page.
