I walked the path to the garden
In the early morning gloom
To spend a quiet hour
In meditation at the tomb.
The darkness there enveloped me
As the loneliness within
Grew deeper with the memories
Of the paths I'd walked with Him.
My dreams - they now lay shattered
Since they'd hung Him on the tree.
Life was meaningless and empty,
He had meant so much to me!
And then my thoughts were broken -
I stopped!
I stared!
At the tomb with the Open Door.
He's Risen!
He's Risen!
I heard the shout
And looked up at my living Lord!
Oh, new hope, new life He offers
Through His victory o'er the grave.
Jesus lives that all who trust in Him
Might conquer and be saved!

Yes, my friend - CHRIST HAS RISEN!
What a wonderful Savior we have.
It is all because of the Cross at Calvary
that we can know, without a shadow of doubt,
that we can spend eternity in Heaven with our Lord.
