In the beginning, God and Man had a relationship and enjoyed fellowship
together.
God provided a paradise for Man to enjoy and gave him enjoyable work to do. Read: Genesis

Then sin entered the world, and because of man's rebellion, the relationship between God and Man was broken. The first man and woman were driven out of paradise to suffer the consequences of their sin. Read: Genesis, Chapter 3
Fellowship between God and Man was no longer possible. There was now a great division between Man And God which no human could cross and the punishment for man's sins was death. Man cannot buy his way to God, neither can he earn his way by good works. Without a relationship with God, mankind fell into every type of evil, and the earth was filled with violence.
Then God sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins. God did for man what man couldn't do - He built a bridge between Man and Himself. Read: John 5:23; 5:36; 6:44; 8:42
He is the only way. He is the only Truth. He is the only Life. There is no way to get to Heaven but through Him. Read John 14:6; Acts 4:12

Dear God: I know I am a sinner. I believe You are the Son of God who died on the cross to save me from my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask you now to come into my heart. I ask for forgiveness of all my sins. Help me to live, as a new creature in Christ, the way you want me to live. Help me to always put You first in my life. Help me in my walk with You. Thank you God for saving me. In Jesus name I ask it. Amen.
