The Truth

    The Bible is the infallible Word of God.  "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

        There is one ever-living, eternal God:  infinite in power, holy in nature, and possessing absolute indivisible deity.  This one true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son, and as the Holy Spirit.  He is the Jehovah of the Old Testament, manifesting himself in divers ways.  In the New Testament, He is manifest in the flesh:  Jesus Christ. (1 Timothy 3:16)  After the ascension, he exists as the Holy Spirit, working in our lives.

    To receive salvation one must obey the scriptures command to repent (turning away from sin), be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of those sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, the initial sign being speaking with other tongues.

    Godly living should characterize the life of every child of the Lord, and we should live according to the pattern and example given in the Word of God.
