Why Salvation?

The Bible teaches that sin threatens

us with broken relationships. Spiritual

death, and judgment. But God though

the death and resurrection of Jesus

Christ, has provided a way to redeem

us from sin's consequence. He offers

us salvation, so that we can have a

second chance at life, an opportunity to

experience a spiritual rebirth into a new

and abundant life of the spirit, and

ultimately, eternal life with Him

forever. The question has been ask,

what is salvation? In simple terms it

means being salvaged or saved, thus

that's were we get the term being saved.

Let us see what God has to say

regarding salvation.

Romans 4:4-8

When people work, their wages are not a

gift. Workers earn what they receive.

But people are declared righteous

because of their faith, not because of

their works. King David spoke of

this, describing the happiness of an

undeserving sinner who is declared

to righteous Oh, joy for those whose

disobedience is forgiven, whose sins

are put out of sight. Yes, what joy

for those whose sin is no longer

counted against them by the Lord.

Romans 3:24

Yet now God in his gracious kindness

declares us not guilty. He has done

this though Jesus Christ, who has

freed us by taking away our sins.

Being saved means that we no longer

have to be afraid of our sins counting

against us, because by the grace of God

we have been forgiven and God declares

us not guilty. Isn't that music to our ears?

While we were in sin, under the sentence of

death by accepting God's way of escape (His

Son Jesus), He declares us not guilty Praise

His Holy name!

Psalm 103:11-12

For his unfailing love toward those who

fear him is as great as the height of the

heavens above the earth. He has removed

our rebellious acts as far away from us as

the east to the west.

Psalm 51:1-12

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your

unfailing love, because of your great compassion,

blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from

my guilt. Purify me from sin. For I recognize

my shameful deeds, they haunt me day and night.

Against you and you alone, have I sinned,

I have done what is evil in your sight. You

will be proved right in what you say, and

your judgment against me is just. For I

was born a sinner, yes from the moment my

mother conceived me. But you desire

honesty from the heart, so you can teach me

in my inmost being. Purify me from my sins,

and I will be clean, wash me, and I will

be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back my

joy again, you have broken me, now let me

rejoice. Don't keep looking at my sins.

Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in

me a clean heart, Oh God. Renew in

me a right spirit within me. Do not banish

me from your presence, and don't take your

Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again

the joy of my salvation, and make me willing

to obey you.

As we see here David is admitting his

sin before God, he is not making excuses.

Or trying to lay the blame on anyone ,

he is taking full responsibility for his

sins. He realizes that being saved means

that his sins has to be completely removed

and that being saved also means that God

not only removes the sins but that the stain

of guilt is washed away.

1st Peter 2:9-10

But you are not like that, for you are a

chosen people. You are a kingdom of

priests, God's holy nation, his own

possession. This is so you can show others

the goodness of God, for he called you out

of darkness into his wonderful light. Once

you were not a people, now you are the

people of God. Once you receive none

of God's mercy, now you have received

his mercy.

Romans 3:21-24

But now God has shown us a different

way of being right in his sight, not by

obeying the law but by the way promised

In the scriptures long ago. We are made

right in God's sight when we trust in

Jesus Christ to take our sins. And we

all can be saved in this same way, no

matter who we are, or what we have done.

For all have sinned, all fall short of God's

glorious standard. Yet now God in his

gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He

has done this through Christ Jesus, who has

freed us by taking away our sins.

Praise God ! we have learned here in the

above scriptures that we have all sinned and

fell short of God's glory. What does that mean

to the human race, it means that no one it better

than the next, there is no different levels of sinners

so no one can say you need forgiveness but I

don't, No! God tell us that he is no respector

of persons, that we have all sinned and fell

shot of His glory. So what does it mean to

be saved it means because of what Christ

did on the cross we are forgiven in Him.

If we will except what He did for us on the

cross. That choice is up to each person. God

does not force anyone to receive Jesus as

there savior.

Romans 10:13

For "anyone who calls on the name of

The Lord will be saved."

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he

gave his only son, so that everyone

who believes in him will not perish but

have eternal life.

John 5:24

"I assure you, those who listen to my

message and believe in God who sent

me have eternal life. They will never be

condemned for their sins, but they have

already passed from death to life.

We have all at sometime in our lives search

for peace and to fill that void in our hearts,

ask the question "how can I be saved ?"

The word tell us that God promises salvation

to anyone who calls on Jesus name, Jesus

Himself promised that those believed in Him

Will be saved (not maybe) but Will be Saved.

When the scriptures tell us to believe on the Lord

Jesus Christ the word believe is nor just a token

Belief, but a belief that is so profound that it

invades your whole being.

Luke 2:11-12

The savior, yes, the Messiah, the Lord

has been born tonight in Bethlehem, the

city of David! And this is how you will

recognize him; you will find a baby in a

manger, wrapped snugly in the strips of

cloth!

.

Revelation 20 :11

And I saw a great white throne, and I saw

The one who was sitting on it. The earth and

sky fled from his presents, but they found no

place to hide. I saw the dead , both great and

small, standing before God's throne. And the

books were opened, including the book of life.

And the dead were judge according to the

things written in the books, according to what

they had done.

Revelation 21:3

I heard a loud shout from the throne ,saying

"Look, the one home of God is now among

his people! He will live with them, and they

will be his people.

As we see in the above scriptures that

Salvation is available to anyone, God is

no respector of persons, it doesn't matter

if you are rich or poor, salvation is needed

for all( not just some). Jesus was born in a

humble stable among very ordinary people

powerfully demonstrate that salvation is

available to anyone who seek Him with

all there hearts. Although salvation is

available to everyone There comes a time

when the Holy Spirit ,will withdraw from

us, and it will be to late to receive Christ,

you see coming to Christ is not(as many

have and still believe,)when we get ready.

Salvation is available in God's time ,not

ours. Being saved simply put, means being

salvaged and freed from the power of sin to

live a new life.

1st.Peter 1:5

And God, in his mighty power, will protect

you until you receive this salvation, because

you are trusting him. It will be revealed on

the last day for all to see.

Romans 8:12-17

So dear Christians friends, you have no

obligation whatsoever to do what your

sinful nature urges you to do. For if you

keep on following it, you will perish. But

if though the power of the Holy Spirit

you turn from it and its evil deeds, you

will live. For all who are led by the Spirit

of God are the children of God. So you

should not be like cowering, fearful slaves,

You should behave instead like God's

very own children, adopted into his family

calling him "Father dear Father." For

his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our

hearts and tells us that we are God's

children. And since we are his children,

we will share his treasures, for everything

God gives to his Son Christ, is ours, too.

But if we are to share his glory, we must

share his suffering.

Matthew 14:28-33

Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if its

really you, tell me to come to you by

walking on the water." "All right

come," Jesus said. So Peter went

over the side of the boat and walked

on the water toward Jesus. But when

he looked around at the high waves, he

was terrified and began to sink. " Save

me, Lord!" he shouted. Instantly Jesus

reached out his hand and grabbed him.

"You don't have much faith," Jesus said.

"Why did you doubt me !" And when

they climbed back into the boat, the wind

stopped. Then the disciples worshiped him.

"You really are the son of God!" they

exclaimed.!

We see here that salvation bring the assurance

of eternal life. When we ask Jesus to come into

our hearts to forgive us of our sins, the Holy

Spirit takes up residence in our hearts and

assures us that we are God's children. There is

no way we can save ourselves from sin, guilt,

judgment, and spiritual death, apart from Jesus.

only though Jesus Christ can we be saved. Its

not by works, or being good ,For salvation and

eternal life Jesus (whether we like it or not)

Cannot be bypassed. God promises us forgiveness

for our sins, he wants wicked people to come to

Jesus and be saved. He promises is that we can

and will spend eternity with Him if we will except

Salvation. God does not sent us to Hell, we

send ourselves if we refuse Jesus the son of God

as our savior, remember the wages of sin ,is

spiritual death , but acceptance of God gift (Jesus)

brings eternal life , forever to be with our Father God.

If you have never taken this step, would you pause

a moment , with a repentant heard ask God to

forgive you of your sins and come into your heart

to be Lord and savior of your Life. My pray is

that all who visit this site will have a better

understanding of what salvation is, and

means .Like our Lord and Savior I

desire that all be saved that none will perish.

Amen & Amen.

Jesus Was There

Once I was filled with misery deep in

sin and despair, then I cried oh Jesus

are you still there? My misery and

burdens you promised to bare, Oh

my Jesus my Jesus are you still there?

One day I found my Jesus on my knees

In all my shame and despair. Then He

said be still my child trust in my name ,

and your shame and your sorrow I surely

surely will bare. Oh my Jesus, my Jesus

praise God you are there.

Let me tell all you people with heartaches

and pain, you can count on my Jesus, just

call on His name. Yes I'll tell all you

people in sin and despair you can count

on my Jesus, for He's always there.
